Dear Cathedral Family,

Laissez les bon temps rouler! Downtown Mobile turns itself over to Carnival festivities this weekend, and Christ Church is very near the epicenter of celebration. For this reason, our offices will be closed Friday, February 17 through Fat Tuesday, February 21. We will reopen on the morning of Ash Wednesday to prepare for two services of Holy Eucharist with imposition of ashes that day, at noon and 5:30 p.m.

We will have worship in person this Sunday, February 19, the Last Sunday after the Epiphany, but you will need a green Joe Cain Day pass to come around the barricades and park on the street Sunday morning. Sunday worship will be livestreamed, as well. No nursery, Sunday School, or hospitality this Sunday.

Get in all your “Alleluias” and celebration this Mardi Gras season, prior to answering the call to keep a holy Lent. Stay safe and see you on the other side!
